There are a number of other events taking place during the tournament weekend. There is always something to do!
Team Redemtion Event
In this event, teams of two players go head to head to see who will emerge victorious. The event is currently scheduled for 8pm Thursday in the main tournament hall. Entry fee will be $5 per team. Details are still being worked out but you can follow the progress of this event here.
Ironman: Seeker of Souls
In this event, players start with 10 Lost Souls in their possession. Throughout the weekend, they can challenge each other to matches. The winner takes a Lost Soul from the loser. The player with the most Lost Souls by 1pm Saturday is the champion. Entry fee will be $5 per player. Details are still being worked out but you can follow the progress of this event here.
Settlers of Canaan Tournament
This event will be contingent upon the number of interested players. Currently it is scheduled to take place Thursday and Friday evenings, beginning at 8pm in the main tournament hall. Entry fee will be $2 per player.
Worship Night
Following the closing ceremonies, a combination pizza party and worship night is being planned for anyone staying on Saturday! There will be no cost to this evening of fun, fellowship and worship. The event is currently planned for 6pm Saturday Evening at Northpointe Christian Church. See Around Columbus for directions. More details as they become available.
Other Gaming
Holiday Inn Worthington has graciously allowed us to use the tournament hall until 11pm on Thursday and Friday night, and will open a smaller hospitality room for our use until 11pm Saturday night. During this time, tournament attendees like to break out their other board and card games, or play casual games of Redemption with each other. As I said, there is always something going on at Redemption nationals!
