Worthington Square Mall

The Worthington Square Mall is located across the street from the Holiday Inn Columbus/Worthington. It was recently remodeled to mirror the historic look of the community, and features a number of shops, boutiques and restaurants. Directions

Crosswoods

Just on the other side of the 270 interchange, there is a small cluster of hotels, restaurants and corporate buildings, as well as the Marcus Cinema Crosswoods, a 16-screen stadium seating theater with an additional IMAX-style screen. Directions

Polaris Fashion Place

Just a few short miles north from our location is the Polaris Fashion Place, Columbus' newest retail mall. Polaris is a two-level mall anchored by Sears, JC Penney, Macy's, Sak's Fifth Avenue and Von Maur. There are also a number of stores and restaurants along Polaris Parkway, and Rave, an 18-screen movie theater. Directions

Easton Town Center

The east end of town, about halfway from the airport to the hotel, is home to the Easton Town Center, a huge mall complex built by Les Wexner, the entreprenuer behind Limited brand stores. Lots of indoor and outdoor stores and restaurants, several plazas along the adjoining roads, and a 30-screen theater. Directions

Magic Mountain

Across the street from the Polaris Fashion Place is Magic Mountain, a miniature golf course that also features go-karts, bumper boats, laser tag and a video arcade. Typical hours are 11am to 9pm. Directions

Columbus Zoo

The pride of Jungle Jack Hanna, the Columbus Zoo is nothing short of a spectacle. Not only one of the premier zoological gardens in the nation, the zoo also owns the Safari Golf Club and Zoombezi Bay (formerly Wyandot Lake). The zoo is typically open from 9am to 6pm, $10 admission for adults, $7 for children over 2. Directions

Wed. Aug 6, the zoo will remain open until 8pm for ABC-6 Family Night at the Zoo. Aug 6 is Columbus Bluejackets night, including a hockey carnival and other events and prizes.

Fri. Aug 8 is an evening in the zoo's Arts Concert Series: Jazzoo. Performers include Side by Side and Kelly Crum Delaveris. Tickets for the concert are $27 in advance, $30 at the door. Concert starts 8pm.

Sat. Aug 9 is OSU at the Zoo Day! Wear Buckeye gear and get $2 off admission! OSU marching band, cheerleaders, and Brutus Buckeye, student athletes and more!

COSI

The Center Of Science and Industry recently relocated to an old high school building along the Scioto River in the heart of downtown Columbus. It features several exhibits that highlight a combination of educational science, fun interaction, live shows and special exhibits. The center is typically open from 10am to 5pm, and tickets are $12.50 for adults and $7.50 for children. Educational films are shown on an IMAX-style screen for an extra six or seven bucks.
